The joy and freedom of mastering a mountain bike is truly unique. That’s why we created a beginner-friendly MTB course designed to guide you through every essential skill for confident and safe riding. From building balance and control on off-road terrain to learning proper turns, braking techniques, and gear use — you’ll progress step by step and gain the foundation you need to enjoy the trails with confidence.

Structure

1st sessionProper MTB fit (saddle height, cockpit, tire pressure)
Body position basics: neutral & ready position
Mounting, stopping, and basic balance drills
Slow-speed control on flat terrain

2nd sessionFront vs rear brake usage
Controlled stopping (progressive braking, emergency stops)
Weight distribution for traction
Riding on gravel/sand patches safely

3rd sessionBody position in turns (inside shoulder drop, outside leg pressure)
Line selection basics
Practicing wide-to-tight MTB corners
Intro to switchbacks (beginner level)

4th sessionWhen and how to shift under load
Cadence control for off-road terrain
Climbing technique for small hills
Descending posture and safe speed management

5th sessionGetting over small roots and rocks
Front wheel lifts (beginner level)
Riding narrow sections / basic trail flow
Reading the trail ahead & choosing the right line

6th sessionApplying all learned skills on a real MTB loop
Ride planning: pacing, hydration, safety check
Confidence-building on varied terrain
Individual feedback & progression plan

    No, you will need to bring your own bike or rent one from the rental service near the start of the session.

  • Do I need my own bike?

    You can rent a bike on-site.

  • What type of bike do I need?

    Any MTB bike.

  • Do I need a helmet?

    Helmet is the number one priority. It can also be rented near the start of the sessions.

  • How long are the sessions?

    Each session is 1 hour.
