      Coach Ron (Ronnie) is an endurance sports consultant from India. He has been an expat in UAE all his life and well versed with the culture and life here. Ronnie is focused on all-round optimization of his life. He was as interested in academics as he was in sports and took a serious turn into endurance training at age of 17. He has been training, learning and competing in endurance sports for nearly 20 years while having an engineering career. He has been a ranked age grouper in 800m, 1500m, 5K and 10K. He has won his age category in Duathlon races in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. He loves cycling up mountains and has climbed some of the major hill climbs in the USA on his bicycle, including the steep Mt. Washington Hill climb in New Hampshire and Mt. Evans Road in Colorado. Being an engineer turned coach, he is attentive to details and competent at turning data into insight. He is passionate about teaching and has over 10 years experience in coaching within non-profit club settings and helping athletes achieve their dream projects. His work in pro-bono run coaching has been featured in Abu Dhabi World and Time Out Abu Dhabi.
